Before the hands, there is your story.
A consultation can begin without certainty. With a pain that lingers, a body that feels different, or simply a question. First we talk. Then I examine, test movement and decide whether osteopathy has a place here.
Sometimes the most appropriate care is to stop, explain why, and refer you to another professional.
Look further
The body never lives alone.
It works, rests, adapts, compensates and changes with time. Movement, work, stress, injuries and environment all form part of the picture. I do not look for one simple explanation for every pain.
Osteopathy does not replace medical diagnosis, emergency care, prescribed treatment or indicated rehabilitation.
Know yourself
“The body is the vehicle of our soul.”
It is the one place we inhabit for an entire lifetime. Learning its rhythms, reactions and limits is part of learning how to care for it.
We are not given an instruction manual. Little by little, we learn to write our own.
